shyjonathan1588 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) It took a trip to Home Depot, no skills, and cost less than $100 to build the cockpit of my dreams: Edited September 2, 2014 by shyjonathan1588 1 i5-2500K @4.2 GHz | 16GB RAM | GTX460s in SLI | 1TB HDD (internal) | 1TB HDD (external via eSATA) for FRAPS recording | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals | TrackIR5 | 50" LG monitor
Milli Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Hi Johnathon. Are the pair of pvc plugs identical to each other? One seems to slide over the other when fitting them together. I haven't come across these fittings before and I'm trying to find out what to buy. Regards, Milli
Mr_Burns Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Nice and simple but those bricks are going to throw off the aircraft trim.

Both accept PVC plugs via the threading you can see in the images below. Because of a slight size difference in their cylinders, the male and female adapters slide together perfectly! i5-2500K @4.2 GHz | 16GB RAM | GTX460s in SLI | 1TB HDD (internal) | 1TB HDD (external via eSATA) for FRAPS recording | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals | TrackIR5 | 50" LG monitor

The bricks are very unpopular with the wife. i5-2500K @4.2 GHz | 16GB RAM | GTX460s in SLI | 1TB HDD (internal) | 1TB HDD (external via eSATA) for FRAPS recording | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals | TrackIR5 | 50" LG monitor
Mr_Burns Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 The bricks are very unpopular with the wife. Divorce her, if a woman doesnt like a mans bricks, she aint for keeping. Would she prefer ornamental stones cos that wouldnt work for you. I like your man cave by the way, im thinking of ways to 'off ' the dog because its garden is prime space for a new shed... Any Aussies want a 3 year old Shepherd called Sir Barksalot..gets on well with the neighbours, you wont hear a peep out of it...honest.:pilotfly:
