Bucic Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I've always dreamed of proper soil moisture state which would require: - simplified weather record from the last 7 days at least OR manual input - rough zones of types of terrain (to roughly represent types of soil) What it would enable: - gun fire and explosion blast effects or lack of thereof - severity of track trails - impact on cross-country performance of vehicles Please note that even heavily simplified implementation would give a lot of possibilities. F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close

Today there is only a distinction between "concrete" and "everything else but water" for, I believe, only the graphical representation of weapon effects (expolsion size, size of the resulting crater).
