galevsky06 Posted October 30, 2014 Author Posted October 30, 2014 Back in business ! I was very busy in October, within hiring process, technical tests and interview to prepare and so on... that explains the delay. So, first beta-release is done, link to download has been sent to beta-testers: v0.9.0.20272 PLEASE USE IT CAREFULLY !!! NOT ON IMPORTANT DATA !!! (DCS World installation is nice for tests thanks to its embedded repair feature) You can build-up your own mod thanks to the feature: I am currently working on v0.9.1 to fix 2 small UI bugs. Thank you for feedback/comments/suggestions.
JayPee Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Galevsky, I've downloaded the beta test version but to be honest, I find it rather confusing.. Compare it to what can be considered as the competition: JSGME, I have no clue where to start. Where do I put all my mods? Where do I set the root dir for DCS World? i7 4790K: 4.8GHz, 1.328V (manual) MSI GTX 970: 1,504MHz core, 1.250V, 8GHz memory
galevsky06 Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 Mods files are stored into a unique mod library, a specific folder that can be chosen during setup. This folder can be changed, go into the settings, you can move it. Drop here all your mods, and organize them as you want with folders. As for Applications to be modded, you have to use the File menu: add/delete application... it will allow you to manage the list of application in the upper-right corner. Orange: manage the applications list to be modded Blue: see where is located the mod library We miss documentation currently for sure :)
