Jordantimber Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Hello, I did fly Lomac and FC1. With FC2 it got my attention once more. I'm glad with what I'm seeing. However, for my system I need to do some tweaking to keep above the 20 FPS. I've always found the Lomac series confusing and hard to tweak. My question. How do I get the low scenery but still get the trees? I managed to tweak the visibility. But now I want to tweak the scenery files. I don't wan't much (buldings, trees), but I want everything to be there from a normal distance and without abrupt popups. I manged to do this with all the buildings. But where are my trees? I want them around the fields and on the mountains. Anybody? Thanks for the help! DrKSmile - Dental Implants Orange County CA
ESAc_matador Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I had the same problem. I solve it this way. 1. Put your new visual configuration with trees at around 7000 ( or whatever you want). 2. Open a blank mission on the editor. NEW one. 3. Put your aircraft in it. 4. Save it. 5. Fly It seems that when you change config, and save it, DCS remember this configuration forever, until you save it again. BuThe only New missions. Don't get anew old one, otherwise it will not change anything. After you do this, al the missions you open will be with the new configuration.
