Olympuss Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Are possible to connect via Lan in DCS? If yes how I can do?
Rhinox Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Not sure if I understand you correctly, but AFAIK running multiplayer-DCS on isolated LAN (without internet access) is not possible. For MP clients have to authenticate on ED's "master-server"...
Olympuss Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 of course we have internet access. But in my homew ehave 2 PC and we want make a server and play together .Is it possible via LAN Conection?
txmtb Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Yep it is. I use a laptop for a server at the house and play on my desktop. Set up one of them up in multiplayer with the New Server option, uncheck Public, and put a password. On the client PC, in the upper right of multiplayer there is Connect by IP. Put the local lan IP, usually 192.168.x.x:10308 of the PC running the server and enter the password then connect. All from memory but think I covered it. Edit: One thing to add, make sure both are running the exact same version, and you need 2 different valid accounts with licenses of the aircraft you want to fly. Joe Kurr Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Also, note that when your connection to the master server is lost while playing (master server goes down, isp trouble, etc), you will be kicked out of your LAN game. Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
