mj3437 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I don't have the option for weapons status or camera aiming in the special options for the UH-iH. The manual states that they should be there. What am I missing? I see the option for Trackir aiming, but not the other 2. I don't use Trackir and would like to aim with the mouse. Thanks for any help.:helpsmilie: MJ msi Z170A MB, i7-6700k @ 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 GeForce GTX 970 4GB, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Acer Predator Z271, 650w PSU, Corsair Carbon500R, MS FFB 2
SilentGun Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 for mouse aiming you need to enable trackir aiming. I don't have a trackir either but it still works Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... mj3437 Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 Thanks SilentGun. I'll try enabling trackir. What about the weapons status window? How do I enable that with no option available? mj3437 Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 No ideas how to bring up the weapons status window? MJ msi Z170A MB, i7-6700k @ 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 GeForce GTX 970 4GB, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Acer Predator Z271, 650w PSU, Corsair Carbon500R, MS FFB 2
mj3437 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Solve I had to restart the Sim before my changes in the options would work. Auto pilot must be enabled to get the weapons status window. This was also true with the problem I had getting mouse aim. I enabled Trackir aiming and had to restart for it to take affect. MJ msi Z170A MB, i7-6700k @ 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 GeForce GTX 970 4GB, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Acer Predator Z271, 650w PSU, Corsair Carbon500R, MS FFB 2
SFC Tako Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Funny sidenote to this: I have TrackIR and find it very helpful indeed. Except for aiming with machineguns! But the cool thing is, I just press F9 to disable TrackIR when I play with the machineguns and F9 again when I'm done gunning. Good stuff :) My Semi-Pro Youtube Channel
