Track IR View Jumps Around

I just started flying F-86 and when I am using Track IR I find the view jumps all over the place. I deleted the file in saved games and started over and the same thing happens. Is anyone else experiencing this issue. BTW, the other DCS modules do not have this issue.

Make sure that you don't have a light source on behind you... I had a lot of issues early on and figured out that the light in the other room was messing up the TIR. If I close the door to the room I have ZERO issues..

 

(You say only F-86 does this so this suggestion may not help at all because if this is the issue it should showup in all modules but thought I would mention it anyway.)

You can check this by enabling the Camera View - if you only see 3 green dots, then it should work okay. If you see more than 3 and/or red(ish) "clutter", then some other IR/Light source is interfering. You can then try to adjust the camera sensitivity (3rd tab on the left side of the TIR software)

Thank you for the replies Outlawal2 and Flagrum. So, I did check the camera and only three green dots. I ran through a couple of modules to test again but same thing only for F-86. I will try to delete the Track IR folder again and see what happens.

.....also make sure no other view settings are enabled in control settings for the F-86 other than the trackir.......:-)

Be sure that the Track IR camera is between 12 and 18 inches from the hatclip or proclip. Any distance greater than 18 inches will increase sensitivity to head movement a great deal. Also, you can try reducing the speed slider in the Track IR software.

Thank you everyone. Light Filtration threshold was too low. I set Track IR to 209 in the Camera tab and it seems to be doing great. Now F-86 is flyable.
