Ultra Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I was messing around with the new Su-27 and I'm not sure how I did this. A few minutes into the track I climb to about 13k (ft or m? whatever is displayed in the replay), then I stall it and go into an inverted free fall and my engines shut down (I think). I was able to turn the nose down, gain airspeed, and the engines auto recovered. The main question is that it seems like I was falling really slowly after I stalled. Did everything happen correctly? :dunno: :joystick: (Hopefully the track works for other people) .High Altitude Stall and Recovery.trk
GGTharos Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 When the aircraft is falling down 'flat', you have a lot of surface area that acts as an airbrake, so, yes, it will fall slowly. Though probably it should be doing a leaf-falling motion instead and going a bit faster, but who knows ...
