Xxx Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 To celebrate my return to DCS with DCS World. Here is a simple video of the SU25T. From flying the A10c and Black Shark 1, some four years ago, the sim never fails to get better!! Good luck to ED and thanks! Best Regards David [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]i7 Haswell @ 4.6Ghz, Z97p, GTX1080, 32GB DDR3, x3SSD, Win7/64, professional. 32" BenQ, TIR 5, Saitek x55 HOTAS. Xxx Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 Nice vid. Welcome back to DCS. :) Thank you. Someone said, somewhere in the forum, that flying the SU25T in DCS World is so much fun you get distracted from all the other sims you have actually purchased! This I can attest to!! (Haven't got off the ground yet in the Sabre or the Huey!) When I drag myself away from the Frogfoot and the Mission Planner, perhaps I can re acquaint myself with the Hog and the Black Shark, which I could actually fly quite well 3 years ago! Now I am wondering where all those HOTAS functions are on my sticks.....:joystick: Best Regards David [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]i7 Haswell @ 4.6Ghz, Z97p, GTX1080, 32GB DDR3, x3SSD, Win7/64, professional. 32" BenQ, TIR 5, Saitek x55 HOTAS. Wolfala Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Welcome back. I see you used my guard AF recording at the start. Brought a smile to my face.
Xxx Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) Welcome back. I see you used my guard AF recording at the start. Brought a smile to my face. Thanks Buddy. Well if you take a look at my latest video you may recognise some more NATO recordings! I did a simple DCS World mission and have just uploaded it to explore some of the features of DCS World. Also to explore the use of different platforms/weapons systems to attack a small APC column. It was a good exercise in remembering how the Mission Planner works not to mention the old HOTAS.......Oh my, 3 years of non use gets your brain very rusty!:joystick: Here is a link to the video;- There is also a counterpart mission, I recently uploaded. I call "Blue Mirror Sting in the Tail". This allows the pilot to fly for the Blue coalition in either the A10c/Huey or even the F86, if you want to add a historical aircraft to the mission. The interest here is the use of the A10c/Huey to undertake the mission previously done by the Su25T and Ka50! The "sting" is the new DCS SU27! All academic but interesting!
