Complete uninstall of lock on

I am not the best with computers and need some help. Recently I downloaded an upgrade/mod for the default F-15 in flaming cliffs 2. Somewhere along the way during install, I messed something up and now the outside of the F-15 is invisible. All you can see is the pilot, missiles and engines. I have tried uninstalling lock on and flaming cliffs 2, and reinstalling and the problem continues. Anyone have any suggestions?

You don't need to mess with LockOn as it is just their for licensing purposes, so just leave it alone. When you removed Flaming Cliffs 2, did you also delete the installation folder?

 

Typically, when you uninstall, the game does not remove files that it did not put there, meaning your mod files will be left behind and continue to mess things up when you reinstall in the same folder.

 

Try uninstalling again, and then delete the installation folder, then reinstall.

Where is the installation folder located?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics possibly. I am not sure since I haven't installed FC2 in many years. If you can't find it, just start the install and see where it wants to put it by default, then just cancel the install.
