Chappie Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Prior to the patch that was pushed after 1.2.11, the Flanker could not only taxi on the dirt but also takeoff and land on it. If this was not correct behavior and subsequently fixed, then I accept that. However, the aircraft was designed to taxi, land, and takeoff on dirt, wet dirt, dry dirt, dirt. Speaking of dirt, it seems to be a black hole for some aircraft and for others no big thing for others. I thought it was great the Flanker had dirt properties. Can you please put the dirt back on the Flanker?
GGTharos Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 However, the aircraft was designed to taxi, land, and takeoff on dirt, wet dirt, dry dirt, dirt. It was designed to operate on semi prepared or poorly maintained airfields ... Not dirt. mvsgas Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 No modern aircraft can takeoff or land from the "dirt" unless that "dirt" has been prepared to handle the weight. Some aircraft can operated from rough fields, but does fields still have to be able to handle the weight. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Holbeach Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 It can take off without undercarriage, so a bit of dirt shouldn't bother it. ASUS 2600K 3.8. P8Z68-V. ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2080Ti, RAM 16gb Corsair. M2 NVME 2gb. 2 SSD. 3 HDD. 1 kW ps. X-52. Saitek pedals. ..
