Questions about slip ball indicator

Good day. I noticed that in every flyable machine in DCS the slip ball is indicating slipping relative to the wind and not to the ground.

I mean when I am flying toward the nose (no slipping relative to the ground) in course 90 and the wind has course 180, the slip ball is showing that I am slipping. But when I am flying with nicely centered ball and centered turn indicator, I am slipping relative to the ground.

 

So I am asking if it's simulated correctly. Thank you for your answer andy sorry for my grammar. :pilotfly:

Yes that is correct behavior. Slip ball has nothing to do with the ground, it is the aircraft orientation in yaw reference the relative air flow
