AJaromir Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Good day. I noticed that in every flyable machine in DCS the slip ball is indicating slipping relative to the wind and not to the ground. I mean when I am flying toward the nose (no slipping relative to the ground) in course 90 and the wind has course 180, the slip ball is showing that I am slipping. But when I am flying with nicely centered ball and centered turn indicator, I am slipping relative to the ground. So I am asking if it's simulated correctly. Thank you for your answer andy sorry for my grammar. :pilotfly:
Kaiza Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 (edited) Yes that is correct behavior. Slip ball has nothing to do with the ground, it is the aircraft orientation in yaw reference the relative air flow Edited November 16, 2014 by Kaiza [SIGPIC]http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/2500/a10161sqnsignitureedite.png[/SIGPIC]
