I just did the latest update last night (1.2.11.34087). I have noticed some issues and I am wondering if anyone else is seeing this. A friend of mine I fly with in DCS did the update and is noticing the same issues. It seems to be only with the SU-27.

On the SU-27

1. Landing gear goes back down by itself after retracting.

2. Engine keeps shutting off by itself.

3. Air brake is going up by itself.

4. Since update, plane seems faster but flies like you are standing on the head of a pin. Its hyper sensitive, seems almost inherently unstable, like the plane wants to go out of control all the time. It just seems like it overcompensates for pitch and roll.

I would like to know if anyone else has seen this.

Best regards,

Budvido

I too have the same impression although I'm sure a SU 27 expert will be along shortly to tell us where we went wrong:smilewink:. The biggest difficulty I'm having at the moment is trying to keep the damn thing in trim she just wants to nose up and up even after resetting the trim to neutral. The auto pilot will oscillate all over the place even after engaging it while level also. Still love it though even when she pitches me over into an inverted spin.

On the engines cutting out I found (given sufficient altitude) a quick LCtrl+home + Lalt+home will see you right.:megalol:

Ad 1) Gear is going back only in high positive G for me. When it's locked in closed position, it is not doing anymore. (which is maybe right)

Ad 2) No problem with that. Engine shuts only when I have negative G for approx 10 seconds without afterburner (with afterburner it is much less) or in high AoA but that could be engine stalling (which is right)

Ad 3) did not notice.

Ad 4) SU-27 was designed to be unstable to get better maneuverability in fight. BTW I control plane mostly by trim and also I have very accurate joystick so no problem for me with that. You can every time tune axis curvature.

In air the engines are restarting automatically for me.

I think the most annoying bug is Autopolot oscilating.

I recommend this document about SU-27

Just tested it indeed when using keyboard controls the pitch up and down get stuck going past a certain point, re enable the joystick axis inputs and it instantly disappears

Track attached as well

Looks about right. Gives me something to play with to correct the issue on another computer I am using. Thanks for taking the time bro.

Further Exploration:

Replace my Old input directory in.

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\Input

Handling seems to improve dramatically.

Still need to test it. Thank god for keeping backups of different revisions.
