Noj Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) Whilst doing some test circuits, I noticed that, whenever I roll to port or starboard and let go of the HOTAS, the aircraft levels itself. Is this intended? I also noticed that when rolling and then returning the controls sharply to centre, the aircraft continues to roll some way (not just a few degrees). This might be normal - it's a very long time since I flew in RL, but it doesn't seem to happen so much in my other simulated aircraft (in DCSW). I'll see about getting a track if ness. LJQCN101 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 From a flight dynamics and flight controls point of view, this is a typical characteristics of an aircraft with a high lateral damping ratio and a low directional static stability. EFM / FCS developer, Deka Ironwork Simulations.
