h00jraq Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Hello Pilots, I'm trying to clean my Saitek x52 pro and I have some issues... How to separate stick from the basis? The case is that I want to clean metal ring which is placed under the spring but I don't know which screws I have to remove to clean this metal ring and metal "rod" inside the spring. I probably have to remove spring from the rod but hell I have no idea how to do this without destroying my x52 pro and solder some cables(I'm not really god in soldering...)I don't want to cut wires Also I want to clean a mess that is hide under this metal ring(there is another one indise but it is only visible when you lift up metal ring showed in the pricute)
Hadwell Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 You have to take the actual stick apart(not the base) , disconnect the wires from the PCB inside the stick, then pull it all through the wires and such... i don't have pictures or a step-by-step guide.... h00jraq Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 Ahh would be great to have some step by step guide. I'm cooker, not engineer :P. I know that asking for photo guide is maybe little to much but I can bake bread for You :D. :helpsmilie:
