[A-10C A-10A, KA-50] Limit FPS of TGP or Shkval ?

Hi Pilots,

 

just wondering if someone knows how to limit FPS only for TGP or Shkval (name also as "Picture in Picture" in others sims)

 

I guess that an .lua file could be tweaked ?

 

This would be a good way to improve FPS ;)

BUT, in the options, we can limit the resolution of the render diplay, not the FPS ;)

Nope, if you select say 512 everyframe it renders same fps as game, BUT if you take just 512 it renders MFD just half of your frame rate. (MFD Updates every second frame only )

Didn't know that the 512 or 1024 (without the sync ev. frame) was in fact a half refresh sync of the main screen.

 

Do you know if there is a way to get 1/4 refresh rate ?

May be in somewhere in cfg.files but can't be sure. Maybe somebody will know better ?

 

I use just 256 , is bit closer to real shkval rez :huh:

Yep, thanks for this, Haukka. Will look for these refresh rates as soon as I get time and let you know if I find something
