Rise Tragedy
I just have a quick noobish question that I myself probably already know the answer to, but i'm just not getting. I've decided that I want to upgrade my graphics card from a 650 Ti Boost to a GTX 970. I got this 650 last year around this time (christmas) and ended up having to buy a brand new power supply, as well. Before the 650, I had a cute little 610. I believe I went from a 500W to a 600W power supply. So here's my question. Will I be able to upgrade to a 970 without having to get a brand new Power Supply? Or would the 970 consume too much power for my 600W? Thank you Invisibull! After last year, I'm a little worried about the Power Supply, only because I had bought my 650 at Best Buy for $200, got home, installed it, turned on my PC, only to find out that my Power Supply wasn't good enough for the 650. So I ended up having to go back out and spend another $200 on a new Power Supply. $200 OVER my intended spending amount! I don't want a repeat of that, again, this year! :P Thank you, again!
