Baasar Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Just bought a new Saitek x52 pro and everything works but the rudder twist on the stick. Is there a way that it has been disabled? like it thinks I have rudder pedals? Is there a mechanical switch to disable rudder on stick? In the setup it just doesn't recognize any movement when I twist the stick.
Devrim Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 There's a latch under the stick (at left corner). Pull left and lock it. Baasar Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 Im not trying to lock it. it doesn't pick up any movement. I want to use it for rudder. is it software related? because in dcs I try to bind rudder to stick twist and it doesn't do anything.
cichlidfan Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Have you tested in the Windows control panel applet? It has been a while but I don't recall a way to disable/remove the actual USB axis from being available. Baasar Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 can you explain how to get to applet?
Devrim Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Baasar, first, let me know, what do you see in Saitek Control Panel software? Do you see any movement when you twist the stick? Baasar Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 no. I do not see any movement in the control panel when I twist the stick.
Devrim Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 If you installed latest drivers and if you see indications of other functions (buttons, aixs movements) and if your HOTAS have no connection (cable) problem between throttle and stick, then you may be having hardware failure. Maybe you have already thought this, but couldn't find any solution...
