LOGICNC.COM Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Anybody know what the lever on the back of each throttle half is for in real life? The levers on the front side are for the gate stops, but I haven't seen anything which explains the function of the rear ones? LOGICNC.COM The Next Logical Step
Spectre11 Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 At least in some western aircraft these detents are used to move the throttles from shut to idle and the other way round. This prevents errorneous engine shut down when the throttles are slammed down from higher throttle settings. Dunno whether it's the same function on Russian A/C, but I suppose it is something like this.
wasserfall Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Those are for independent movement of the left and right throttle. Intel Core i5-9600K, Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 WINDFORCE 8G
