Vespa Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I know this is a real challenge...since there are no more pictures about the italian Bf109 K4...but, who knows...maybe. There were at least three K4 delievered to the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana...any artist that could paint the italian skin? An interesting model with pictures here: http://stormomagazine.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?p=7619&sid=c7db3d5f9d68b6ef0314a1ae60b0b005
JST Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 There is a picture of the 330209, still has Luftwaffe markings: My skins/liveries for Fw 190 D-9 and Bf 109 K-4: My blog or Forums. Open for requests as well. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vespa Posted December 22, 2014 Author Posted December 22, 2014 You got it JST ;). The picture is from the book Air War Italy 1944-45, wrote by Nick Beale and my friend Ferdinando D'Amico and Gabriele Valentini.. The 109 is depicted at Lonate Pozzolo just after its arrival (february 1945). This particular Aircraft was later coded '3-17' and assigned to the 'Sezione di Gruppo', a sort of Staffel flight like II° Gr.C. already had.
JST Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Better late than never, I'll work on this. My skins/liveries for Fw 190 D-9 and Bf 109 K-4: My blog or Forums. Open for requests as well. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
