Chappie Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 i've always had this issue, the F-15 drivers says it's normal... This is technically not a problem if the F-15 pilot uses Flood Mode and launches an AIM-120. The missile does not need to go active but follows the reflected energy from the flooded target.
GGTharos Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 That's completely incorrect. The 120 used is own illumination and FLOOD mode is utterly useless for it. That mode is used with the sparrow only. The 120 has visual mode, aka mad dog. If this isn't how it works in game, then there is an error in implementation. *Rage* Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) RWR indication in latest patch is giving some odd ranging information compared to previous....Search and lock tones that were showing up as close before (<20km) and used to be about 2 bars from full strength are now showing as 2/3rds to 3/4s strength. Edit: took another MP flight and seems to be working as before once again:huh: Edited December 26, 2014 by ///Rage [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.22
