domini99 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 All the topics I found about this subject are from older versions of the game. My problem is: i want to host a server to play on with friends, but DCS World takes the wrong IP, so I can not host the server. I cannot select the correct ip, how can i change the interface so i can host it on the correct IP?
BitMaster Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) This "might" be caused by the order with which they are listed in your network properties. Windows uses the adapter that is located on top of the list first if connected and only takes subordinated ones if the top adapter listed fails. You have to go to ADAPTER SETTINGS or whatever that is called in your native GUI language and then PRESS "ALT" to get the menue visible, advanced settings... etc.. As you can see, in my JPG my WLAN-AC is listed ABOVE the LAN-Adapters which is a BAD thing if you use both, cause it would ALWAYS prefer WLAN over LAN if both is present. Usually I have WLAN below ANY LAN adapter. This PC only has WLAN for now so I dont mind the wrong order for now. If this wont help it, disable the adapter(s) you dont need for firing up the server, that should help windows picking the correct and only one present.
