dear friends,

I've just purchased that beast and had a test flight.

at runaway start, despite it is on idle position aircraft starts to run with full throttle.

and when i move throttle to maximum ,power stops like it is on idle position.

this problem happens only for mig.

i tried to reverse throttle settings on axis menu but that didnt helped.

what is your hotas? and did you try to reassign the throttle axis? make sure there is no other conflicting control assigned to same axis...

i've g940

i reassingned throttle and that corrected my problem.

i hurried a lot to fly with it and that escaped from my attention:)

Yeah. DCS has the bad habit of assigning all the HOTAS controls for you. It never works at the first go. You might want to check the button assignments as well. I always delete everything and reprogramming all the buttons and axis myself.

 

Anyways, I have the G940 as well. In the manual, the guys from Leatherneck advised to add about 20 to 25% curvature on the pitch, roll and rudder axis and about 1 to 3 deadzone. This is to simulate the responses of the MiG-21 in the best way.

 

Congratulations on adding the most detailed and wonderful for DCS to date. ;)

Actually that's 20-25 on pitch and rudder, 10-25 for roll. Just did it a few days ago, was still fresh in my mind ;)

I own a G940 as well thanks for the curve tips didn't have time to read the manual yet but will do :) i think the g940 is an awesome hotas... too bad it was discontinued
