Sciatis Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Hello, everyone. Is anyone kind enough to explain what exactly does the number indicate when I use scan zone up/down function. i.e. If i scan zone up the number changes from 0 to +1 (+2, +3, etc). I assume is not degrees nor is it meters in thousands? Also, does anyone knows where to find a good video tutorial on the Su-27s radar? The elevation scale is measured in 1000 metres, so +1 is 1000 metres at your set target range (value at bottom of HUD) default 10km. Example. Elevation at +2 / Target range at 20 = the centre of the beam is pointing at 2000 metres above your altitude at a point 20km ahead of you. "[51☭] FROSTIE" #55 'Red 5'.
