lanmancz Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Hello, I wonder why is ground power required for startup please ? I noticed that I can start just fine without ground power. LuSi_6 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 you need ground power when your battery drops below 24V :pilotfly: Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pedals, Oculus Rift :joystick:
xxJohnxx Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Yeah. GND Power is such a thing. You don't need it under normal conditions, but often it is better to have it connected. If it is very cold, the airplane has been standing for quit some time, or someone forget to turn of all electrical consumers, the battery might not have enough charge to crank that APU. That's when GND power comes in handy. Check out my YouTube: xxJohnxx Intel i7 6800k watercooled | ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 | 32 GB RAM | Asus GTX1080 watercooled
