Hi guys! I have one of those: http://www.itreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/h1155.jpg

As you can see, there's a red switch in the middle. I wanted to use it so that all the other buttons mean something else.

It has 3 positions: position off (no button registered) position A (button 13 constantly active) or position B (button 14 constantly active)

The software provided with it doesn't work for me (BSOD), so I wanted to work around it, using DCS "modifiers". This works pretty well:

I added Button 13 and 14 as a modifier, that can be used together with all the other buttons.

The problem: if the switch is in position A or B (not Off), then none of any other keys work! This includes keyboard. Apparently, the modifier seems to be constantly pressed which causes DCS to interpret every key press as modifier + key.

So in order for the keys to work, I would have to assign all keys as the same key + both modifiers. That's too much work.

Is there a way to make DCS ignore all modifiers if they were not explicitly set in one action? Example: I set Modifier A + Button 2 as action "Lock on". If I put the switch in Modifier A postion and press Button, the "Lock on" action should be executed BUT all other keys should still work. Do you think that's possible?

AFAIK, the answer is no. How can you tell the sim to ignore a key or button press, except when you really mean it?
