JNASova Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Hello. Question for ED guys. Is it possible that this year we get interactive cockpit for all FC 3 planes? Or at least for F 15 and Su 27? Смрт фашизму,слобода народу! www.jna.site50.net

streakeagle Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 The possibility that Belsimtek may upgrade the F-15C to a full fledged DCS module has been mentioned on this forum. But if it is going to happen at all, there is no specified time frame. So, perhaps a better answer for the F-15C is "maybe". "I don't think so" still being overwhelmingly correct. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
BFBunny Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 6dof cockpit for the mig 29 is more realistic.
Flagrum Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Unlikely. Not to rule out the possibility as such, but I strongly doubt that a single aircraft will be upgraded this way this year. "Interactive cockpit" is a bit of a understatement. Implementing the cockpit "interaction...ability" is the easy part, but the implementation of the actual systems that you are interacting with through the cockpit as their "user interface" is what costs quite some developer time (not to mention the necessary detailed research which might not have been done as of yet).
