Spanker79 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Hello to all.I am trying to make a mission for the Huey. The problem i have is that i can't get the frequency of the troops to work. I go to advance action and i set the frq at 40FM for example. When i go in the heli and set the frq the niddles don't move. They are in the middle possition and the troops are at 10klm from my position(airfield). Can someone tell me how to solve this or even better provide a simple .miz file so i can see how it works? Thnx in advance!!! ◈ Lock-On Greece / DCS World Greece http://lockon-greece.forumotion.net/ 1st Hellinic Virtual Squadron for Flaming Cliffs & DCS World ~ Flying since 2008 ~
dooom Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 post your mission as an attachment and I'll try to look at it. ASUS Tuf Gaming Pro x570 / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 3.8 / XFX Radeon 6900 XT / 64 GB DDR4 3200 "This was not in the Manual I did not read", cried the Noob" - BMBM, WWIIOL
mwd2 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Not sure if this will help you: FREQ: 40MHz FM, set on HOMING - signal should only be active in the 10km triggerzoneFM-Homing.miz Playing: DCS World Intel i7-13700KF, 64GB DDR5 @5600MHz, RTX 4080 ZOTAC Trinity, WIN 11 64Bit Prof. Squadron "Serious Uglies" / Discord-Server: https://discord.gg/2WccwBh Ghost0815

StrongHarm Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Care to share? It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
Spanker79 Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Care to share? Of course!!!Here you are.. Then you set your frequency and follow the beacon..See this video on youtube on how to do it Also the example provided by mwd2 (above) is another good solution for making more complex missions! I have attached a simple .miz file just to see the commands i mention above.Troops Beacon.miz ◈ Lock-On Greece / DCS World Greece http://lockon-greece.forumotion.net/ 1st Hellinic Virtual Squadron for Flaming Cliffs & DCS World ~ Flying since 2008 ~
