Jateu Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Hi all I've got tm warthog and no matter how I fly my hog always seems to roll to the left! I have recalibrate via windows control panel but still it rolls. I haven't used and deadzone or changed sensitivity. Can anyone shed light on this frustrating issue. I have tm target installed but haven't used is. Jateu
Gadroc Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Two possible items I can think of. 1) Do you have multiple direct x controllers? By default my pedals toe brakes where mapped to ailerons... the caused quite a bit of excitement when using the rudder. Check all inputs axis and clear any you're not using. 2) The hog needs trimmed all the time. Change air speed and you'll need to re-trim. Breath a little heavier and you'll need to re-trim. That being said I usually don't need to trim bank, just pitch. So check #1.
zero2005 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 If you load more ordnance on one side (or use ordnance from one side) it will also throw your trim out depending on the weight. also, what stick are you using? some of them are pretty innacurate in middle -- my X52 requires a deadzone of around 7-9. and thats centered, if i even breathe wrong sometimes it wiill require more, but i've found if i bump it up i start really loosing a feel for the center... (and is why i'm ordering a TM Warthog as soon as i return home) one thing to check is hit right control + Enter. this will show your control indicator, which will allow you to see where your controls are in relation to dead center... if you notice that your stick is off center to the left, then its probably either a deadzone/calibration issue OR a trim issue..
