FONS Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Hi, i finnaly purchased a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. As i don't have rudder pedals yet, i am currently using the Logitech G27 Wheel pedals. I have no issues to control the rudder with the pedals, but when i move my TM throttle, the virtual joystick of the game moves, with the consequent move of the plane as i would be touching the TM joystick. I am trying to setup all this in the Shukoi 25 T, So this is what i have: The menu it's in Spanish, but it's the Controls / General / Axis commands, and Controls / Su 25T / Axis commands. As you can see i just have to control the throttle on my throttle axis (JOY_SLIDER1) , And the joystick on (JOY_Y, JOY_X). I don't know what's happening, i tested it in another game and i have no issues with this, so it's something related with the DCS controls. Anyone with this joystick have experienced this issues? Any clue? :helpsmilie: Thanks in advance. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] SystemCPU: i7 4790K GPU: Asus GTX 970 4Gb MOBO: Asus Z97 PRO RAM: 16Gb OS: Win10 x64
bengo Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Hi Fons, maybe you will get more help in de Spanish forum section : http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=100 i7 6700k/GTX1070-8G/MSI-Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon/32GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX PREDATOR DDR4 3000MHZ Vengeance 1600/TM Warthog #6106/Samsung SB350_S27B350H/OCZ Agility3 SSD 128GB / Win10-64/TIR5
maks Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Hi fons , i think by removing the joy y from the throttle in the axis menu could help! Had the same
xaoslaad Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 It would help to know what Alabeo and Cabeceo translate too. Google gives me 'warping' for one, so that's not helping. If they are pitch and roll unmap the throttle x/y from them. JOY1_SLIDER, I believe is the smaller slider to the right of the actual throttle; you may want to set that to your actual throttle control? But that's up to you...
bengo Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Fons, select SU25T instead of general from the pull down menu. There you will be able to choose left and right throttle. For me it is Joy_RZ for left and Joy-Z for right throttle. i7 6700k/GTX1070-8G/MSI-Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon/32GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX PREDATOR DDR4 3000MHZ Vengeance 1600/TM Warthog #6106/Samsung SB350_S27B350H/OCZ Agility3 SSD 128GB / Win10-64/TIR5
bengo Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 First clear the assignment : select the axis under throttle and press clear (Borrar ?) Then press Add (Anadir ?) and then move the throttle back and forth so the system can pick up which throttle to assign. i7 6700k/GTX1070-8G/MSI-Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon/32GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX PREDATOR DDR4 3000MHZ Vengeance 1600/TM Warthog #6106/Samsung SB350_S27B350H/OCZ Agility3 SSD 128GB / Win10-64/TIR5
FONS Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) Okey, thank you all going to test all your advises! Edit: Ok, problem solved, the issue was as @maaks and @xaoslad suggested, that the throttle had mapped the x and y axis. can't believe i missed that, it was pretty obvious. Also thanks for telling me i can set my 2 throttles bengo. Thank you all very much!
