Conceptual Revived (USAAC) A-10C Collaberation?

A revived United States Army Air Corps will most likely remain pure fantasy. In the meantime I chose to undertake my first skin project,

a desert camo snakeskin, and I am asking for help. There are a hundred problems with this skin right now, I have apparently erased

portions of layers I needed among other shortfalls. I do have some specific problems like the chunks out of the insignia. Also some parts

are camo that should not be like vents on fusalage, wheel wells, landing gear, bezels around I.R. sensors. Some lines probably need to be

made visable also. I also want to add some "Army" text somewhere.

 

 

 

Opininions are welcome, this may not even be salvageable.

 

I uploaded the description.lua, .xcf and .dds files to my google drive.

 

I welcome anyone who wishes to collaberate on this or other Army aircraft skins.

 

If there is an existing Army skins collaberation thread please let me know.

 

Any ideas on collaberation platforms would also be helpful.

Well, first and foremost, the project is too, for lack of a better word, convoluted.

 

The simplest way to salvage what you've got? Make two skins; one snakeskin and one USAAC markings (which is a pretty cool idea.)

 

On the USAAC skin, I'd go for that old OD Green P-40s had.

Thanks for the suggestions. Those are some valid concerns. I probably should not have changed the colors of the roundel and shield.
