Thought I might start my own build thread for my F/A 18C pit.

The little progress I've done so far with the actual pit is going to get scrapped, since I'm redoing most of it.

So right now I only have my stick that's worth showing!

-2x FFB2, inspired by PeterP and the rest of the contributors of http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=83814

-Suncom F15E talon exterior

-TM warthog switches and PCB

Next up is building a SFS box and putting the Warthog base PCB inside of that so that the stick itself is "plug'n play", and also add a second stage to the trigger. Atleast now it's usable and works great!

Thinking of putting a USB hub inside the FFB2 housing to reduce the number of cables running from it to the PC.

Might tidy everthing up at one point, but for now it works.

Suggestions are always welcome and you want to se more pics, measurements or similar, just let me know!

Cheers

Robin

NIce work so far dude, hope to see the whole thing up and running!

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

Nice!!! I am in the same boat working on my f15 stick for the f18 too! That's a awesome job. So did you cannibalized your warthog stick. Or find a broke one?
