I was able to get everything loaded.

Smart Technology 7_0_27_13 32bit.

The programming of buttons is not mapping. I used a blank profile.

I'm trying to program Button 2 / Launch but it doesn't seem to like the control or ALT keys.

4 test>>

Programmed Result

1) 'Space' 'ATL' ; test screen shows 'Menu' 'Space' >> 1-Space-RALT.JPG

2) 'ATL' Space; test screen shows 'Menu' 'Space' >> 2-RATL_Space.JPG

3) 'Space' RCTRL test screen shows 'Space' 'ControlKey' >> 3-Space-RCTRL.JPG

4) 'RCTL' 'Space' test screen shows 'ControlKey' 'Space' >> 4-RCTRL-Space.JPG

No combination launches the missile.

I am trying to play FC2 the A2A training mission. The book says to use RALT = Space while in the game it says to use RCTRL = Space

Hi,

You mean you load the profile with the Saitek-Profiler before you start DCS ?

If not - you have

If this is not the problem - perhaps it is a problem with the input in the field

Lets say it is "RAlt Space"

ok : RAlt (hold) Space -> like the normal use of keyboard commands

wrong : RAlt Space -> one after another

Make sure you save your profile and then select it from the Tray icon (on your Windows taskbar), also make sure the selector on your joystick (that switches between the 3 colour modes) is on the right one.

Hi Blech - I did as you suggested >> (ok : RAlt (hold) Space -> like the normal use of keyboard commands).

I saved it and tested and it still came up as 'Menu Space'.

I was hoping it would be that simple....

Hi - Tone71, I understand what you are saying, thank you. Right now I am just trying to get the 'test' to show the correct keys

I wouldn't worry too much about what that test window says, try it in game! Sounds to me like you're setting it up correctly. I'll have to see what my test window says for the Right Alt and Ctrl keys.
