Baracuda Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Hi Gentlemen, Something is keeping me buzzy and I can`t find the answer to it. I had a look into this ED tracker device and it seems to have lots of value to me. I know Track IR is good , but this is a good alternative for the things I would use it for. Somewhere I read that ED Tracker is only working with the A10 and P51T Does anyone know or use it also with other modules and FC3 in a good working order? Ty for your time. regards Bara. aka John
Psychosis5150 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I'm using it with the A10C, P51, F86 and have tried it with all planes in FC3 so far with no issues. I'm running Opentrack with the freetrack 2.0 protocol to interface with DCS. The EDtracker is nice and smooth but I miss the full 6dof of an ir tracker. Being able to look around the stick at the center pedestal is one situation that comes to mind as a short coming of the EDtracker. Hope this helps.

I have started using this with the MiG 15 but the head movement with inertia lags behind and makes it really hard to target anything. Are you using any mods to assist with this? Thanks in advance
Baracuda Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 would be cool if someone that use it would make a test /flight video about ED tracker in DCS with different modules ? Searched everywhere but cant find one beside elite dangerous vids.
sniperwolfpk5 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Well guys i use FaceTrackNoIR with Point Tracker. I don't know what is ED Tracker but what i use is almost close to TrackIR. But i would recommend using with PS3 eye as it give you 75 fps for 640 X 480 resolution Win10, Intel 3rd Gen. Core i7 3.8Ghz, 20GB ram, Nvidia Geforce 1060 6GB Opentrack (Download it from HERE), PS3 Eye, Saitek x52-pro Joystick, DIY Rudder Pedals, Google Cardboard with DCS World English is not my native language
