JughedJones Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I know it says that buying through the store doesn't activate modules on steam, but I always run it through the launcher anyway, not through the steam page. Will it work? Secondly, if not, is there anyway to transfer all my modules over from steam and use the DCS site for activation from now on? Thanks for answering a question I'm sure has been posed thousands of times!
El Hadji Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 There is a workaround for getting non-Steam modules to work on Steam but I won't go through it here since it can cause issues. Keys bought on the ED site can't be activated on Steam. The easiest way is the transfer your Steam modules to the standalone version of DCS. There are no real benefits of using the Steam version anyway. Just activate your Steam keys in the standalone and you should be good to go.
