FSKRipper Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Speaking for water details high: As mentioned I hope to see an effect of different wind settings on the water. The rolling of ships is really nice at 16m/s wind but it really kills the immersion when the sea looks flat like a mirror. In this case the disturbed sea (using medium detail) looks more like the reality. I know, it is C--- priority but this is called a wishlist :smartass: i9 9900K @ 5,0GHz | 1080GTX | 32GB RAM | 256GB, 512GB & 1TB Samsung SSDs | TIR5 w/ Track Clip | Virpil T-50 Stick with extension + Warthog Throttle | MFG Crosswind pedals | Gametrix 908 Jetseat [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Robin_Hood Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I think there is some hope that they are or will be working on something like that. It would add much to Carrier Ops for the F/A-18C (and Leatherneck's F-14s). I suspect the current engine is not capable of doing it, maybe EDGE will be (I may be wrong, though, it is possible that this is entirely unrelated). This is a feature that I would like to see, as Carrier Ops (and feet wet helicopter operation) would greatly benefit from good sea animations for various weather. 2nd French Fighter Squadron
NeilWillis Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Agreed. At the very least, optional textures, and a carrier with a rolling deck would be a workable alternative to fully modelled sea states perhaps?
