gmorales Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a tutorial to mod the fllaminng cliff 2 cokpits, I've seen people who add maps or checklist on the pilot legs or girls pictures in some of the panels, I would like to learn how to do that, I've spent some time looking for something but no luck.
Devrim Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I think, adding maps or checklists on lap was a mod for FC2 or prev. versions. Now we have kneeboard and some mods related with it, but adding pictures on panels is done via Photoshop or similar softwares. You're right, there may be no an instruction page about it. You should know how to use a graphic editor software. Then you can edit cockpit DDS files of a module. 1.JaVA_Platypus Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Girls (or any other) custom pictures must be painted on the cockpit textures themselves. Those textures are compressed in a ZIP file. A DDS convertor is needed before you can edit those textures in photoshop. I use "DXTBMP" for this. It is free. (look for it on google) Additional Kneeboard pages can be added easily. If you add them to the C:\users\(username)\saved games\DCS\kneeboard, they can be seen in all of the DCS modules when bringing up the Kneeboard. You can also download a nifty little program from the user files on the main DCS website to add kneeboard pages for you. Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
