Maulkin Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 This option is under the "Engine" subsection but it does not appear to be bind-able to a key. I tried resetting the keyboard config file but I cannot find the keyboard.lua file to delete. I tried removing the keyboard.diff.lua file but that didnt do anything. --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars
Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I've successfully set mine to a joystick key. It works right from the Controls assignement menu. Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
Maulkin Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 Yes I saw I could bind it to my joystick but I use a Saitek X-52 Pro which I have programmed (which makes it emulate the keyboard) so I really need it to be a keyboard command. :( --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars
SlipBall Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I tried resetting the keyboard config file but I cannot find the keyboard.lua file to delete. Just do a windows search to find it...mine is in Dad/saved games
Maulkin Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 Just do a windows search to find it...mine is in Dad/saved games As I said in the original thread there was only the .diff.lua file there and deleting it had one effect at all. Has anyone managed to be able to bind this to a keyboard key? --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars
DieHard Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) This option is under the "Engine" subsection but it does not appear to be bind-able to a key. I tried resetting the keyboard config file but I cannot find the keyboard.lua file to delete. I tried removing the keyboard.diff.lua file but that didnt do anything. I press a button that I assigned in Options/Controls to my CH Fighterstick during manual startup, it works fine. I don't use the ground crew menu for startup.
