deskoilot
I recently setup my KA-50 BS Pit that I built on a motion platform using Sims Tools for my motion. I am using two computers with a crossover cable . All is good when I patch FSX (game and motion, however no so when I patch DCS, (game and NO motion). When patching DCS the patch message says to patch (edit path) C:\user\user name\saved games\DCS. I do this and the message says patch installed. game works but no motion. Has anyone had any experience with this problem before? If so please respond. I need HELP. Thank You terry
FSFIan
Without knowing anything about the software that drives your motion platform, it is impossible to even guess where the problem may be. Have you checked dcs.log for error messages? Have you tried contacting the vendor? deskoilot
Yes to both The Sims Tools needs to have the game patched like this: C:\user\user name\saved games\DCS. It will not patch any other way. Is their some way I can change my path so that the game will boot from that path? Thank You, Terry
Frusheen
I haven't used sim tools. Currently doing a build with x-sim. I believe the hook may need a workaround with dcs. The application you use to launch dcs is not the game executable. That is started when you launch a mission from within the dcs Ui. I know with x-sim you have to fool it into connecting with dcs Also this may be obvious but have you modified your export.lua script to get the motion data out of dcs? Could that be where your problem is. __________________________________________________Win 10 64bit | i7 7700k delid @ 5.1gHz | 32Gb 3466mhz TridentZ memory | Asus ROG Apex motherboard | Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti overclocked Komodosim Cyclic | C-tek anti torque pedals and collective | Warthog stick and throttle | Oculus Rift CV1 | KW-908 Jetseat | Buttkicker with Simshaker for Aviators RiftFlyer VR G-Seat project: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2733051#post2733051

Frusheen
Sorry as I said I haven't used sim tools yet. I'm still setting up with x-sim. You should have a look here. http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/digital-combat-simulator-–-dcs-plugin.4762/page-4 __________________________________________________Win 10 64bit | i7 7700k delid @ 5.1gHz | 32Gb 3466mhz TridentZ memory | Asus ROG Apex motherboard | Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti overclocked Komodosim Cyclic | C-tek anti torque pedals and collective | Warthog stick and throttle | Oculus Rift CV1 | KW-908 Jetseat | Buttkicker with Simshaker for Aviators RiftFlyer VR G-Seat project: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2733051#post2733051
