Pineapple Pete Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Greetings All, I recently installed TrackIR 5 and I found that in order for it work properly I have to darken the room quite a bit due to the ambient lighting. This reduces me to using it only at night. I am wondering if the Face Track No IR would solve this problem for me? Many Thanks, Steve It is always best to not fly too fast or fly too slow. So I fly half fast. :D
AceRevo Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 As I understand it, freetracknoIR requires alot of light, and it also depends on your webcam if it will work great or good... or decent.. The TrackIR is using infrared light and requires less lighting.. Im using the hatclip only (the standard, TIR5 with the tir cap) and it works great in the dark too..... Freetracknoir requires alot of light and a good webcam. Edit: sorry I misread the OP... IMO the trackir works great with lots of light too :s X-55 profile for the F-15C
