mj3437 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I know I have dealt with this before but don't remember how I resolved it. I downloaded the F-15 training mission and the weapons trainer. After install, a new folder named "aircrafts" was created in MODS folder. Do I just move the contents of "aircrafts" into the "aircraft" folder? Can I then delete "aircrafts"? Will these be accessible through Missions tab in game or Training tab? cichlidfan Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 That should work. Yes. Yes. Also, please post the link you downloaded from, or was this the in-game download? mj3437 Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/video_training/ Sorry for the delay. Thanks for the help. I also noticed that in "aircraft", the folder is EN, while in "aircrafts" it is en. Will this make a difference? I have attached a pic showing the location of both folders, but I can't find them in game Edited April 21, 2015 by mj3437 msi Z170A MB, i7-6700k @ 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 GeForce GTX 970 4GB, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Acer Predator Z271, 650w PSU, Corsair Carbon500R, MS FFB 2
mj3437 Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 Are these downloads for a previous release and that is why I can't find them? I am running ver. 1.2.16.38741 Thank you MJ msi Z170A MB, i7-6700k @ 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 GeForce GTX 970 4GB, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB Acer Predator Z271, 650w PSU, Corsair Carbon500R, MS FFB 2
cichlidfan Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 ED fixed that misspelled folder a few patches back but they apparently never updated the training mission files to reflect the change. The 'EN' vs 'en' should not cause a problem. Everything should work fine with your current version of the sim. mj3437 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 I downloaded and installed again, and found them in the replay tab. When a track is selected to open, nothing happens. I don't mean to be a pain in the butt, I would just like to view these training vids.
