kaglecom Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Do you ever start on the runway and pull back the collective and the gauges respond but the helicopter fails to take off? When it happens, I have to Quit and reload. Any insights or solutions? Thank you, mandeldog
Custer Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Can you post a track when this is happening? I have never had this issue.
Buzzles Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 (edited) You're definitely going to have to post a track if you can, especially if it happens frequently. That said, yes, I've had the same issue on very rare occasions, but in other aircraft, so far it's been once or twice in the P-51D and about three or four times or so in the MiG-21. I don't think it's a specific airframe issue but maybe one with either DCS internally or with DCS talking to Windows for controller inputs. The thing I noticed is that the stick in the cockpit didn't move whenever it happened despite me moving my actual joystick around. The game was clearly still reading controller input in some form as you could alter the throttle via the joystick, but it was like the X, Y and Z axis commands weren't getting through. kaglecom Posted May 3, 2015 Author Posted May 3, 2015 I've got a video of the situation and could probably make a better one. How do I post that file to the forum? Thanks, mandeldog
