Wrecking Crew Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 The attached file has the latest crash logs, mission and track file. This mission, WC's F-15C Kill Bombers 1216v1p.miz, will crash every time it is hosted for multiplayer. I've gone through the groups and events to look for anything out of the ordinary... This mission has crashed on every DCS version release for 2-3 years. Please take a look to see if any clues can lead to fixing it. The current version is 1.2.16.38741. Wrecking Crew Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 Testing this mission in single player and it continues to crash with DCS Stopped Working right at about 0852 time of day after a 0700 mission start -- so just under 2 hours. Grimes Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 The numbers are a timestamp for when the error occurred. DCS crashed at 6840 seconds after the sim started. Wrecking Crew Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 I've seen this line frequently in the DCS.log following a crash with this mission -- 01214.835 ERROR GRAPHICSXP: ModelManager: can't find ATMZ-5_P_1 There is no ATMZ-5 in the mission as a unit in a group or as a static object. I searched the 'mission' file and found no instance of 'ATMZ-5' or '5_P_1' or other snippets. Why would the log contain a reference to something not in the mission? In another test the mission got through the 2 hour mark but right around the typical crash time (~0855 mission time, after a 0700 start) there was a Tu-95 landed and parked at KC. Two Tu-142s had landed and were taxing while another Tu-142 was on approach. All these a/c are in their own group of one. There is no event associated with any of these a/c. Suddenly, all four of these heavy bombers disappeared from the mission. It was like the Tu-95 was auto-deactivated after 30 minutes and that took out the others bombers nearby. Is that strange, or what? WC Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms. Wrecking Crew Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Maybe the multiple a/c deactivation is not an issue. Four Tu-95s land at KC, as well as four TU-142s. I changed the four Tu-142s Landing waypoint to Fly Over. This time one Tu-95 had landed and after about 30 minutes, as two more Tu-95s were taxing to park, all three disappeared. A bit later the Tu-142s flew in and maybe it was another 30 minutes after the first Tu-142 landed, and as two more were taxing to park, all three of these a/c disappeared at the same time. At least the mission ran all the way through to its 2 1/4 hour timeout. Testing continues.
