plane select screen not appearing

recently i have been having issues on multiplayer. 2 things occur frequently.

 

1)i load into MP and select a server. I get the mission loading screen and then i find myself in the f10 map view but without the map. I see the Bullseye markers and the map tools but the plane select screen does not appear. I just get the DCS loading screen instead of the map (HUD with clouds around it) but with bullseye markers overlaying it.

 

2) i get "sever ping timeout" or "connection interrupted" message booting me. I live in China and try to play on the 104th as its is the only really populated server. I have my connection set to Lan and my ping is usually 230-270, although i have got booted on occasion for legit reasons (ping over 300).

 

any ideas???

Hey Tek,

I've experienced the issue you mentioned with the mission loading straight into the F10 map.

I was still able to get to the aircraft select screen in this instance by hitting escape, then was able to select a plane, and click briefing-fly as normal.

 

Not sure about your ping/timeout issue, but I have also noticed some timing out on international connections lately. Hopefully this is an issue on their side that will be fixed soon.

yeah i have tried escape. i can get to the briefing screen but never an opportunity to select aircraft.

TeK its just PR messing with your dcs cuz it jelous.
