I am seeing if anyone would be interested in a budget, do-it-yourself extension kit for the Thrustmaster Warthog.

I am looking to sell them for $25 each plus shipping.

The kit would contain everything needed to make the extension, a dark brown metal tube (cut to any length you want), 3d printed end pieces for fitting the joystick to the mount, a ps2 cable that you can modify to connect the electronics, and the Gardena hose connectors.

If there is enough interest I will do a limited number of these. I am not trying to make a profit, so I really prefer to sell these only to people who would struggle to afford the more expensive extenders that are available.

Also for those who are unable to assemble it themselves I would potentially be willing to do it for you, this would be on a case by case basis.

I only plan to make these if there is at least 6 people interested.

So please let me know if you're interested in one.

That really looks interesting, especially the 3D printed part. Please let me know if the interest is large enough after bringing this thread back to the top.

Hi there,

What length is the extension?

My Warthog is coming from overseas, due to arrive in a couple of weeks, fingers crossed!

I designed the 3d printed part specifically to fit the pipe I use for the extension., and to fit inside a hollowed out Gardena hose connector on the other end. I will supply the file here when I get back to my other computer so it can be edited/tweaked to your needs.

The extension length is truly anything you want, I cut the pipe myself to the desired length. The pipe is actually just a heavy duty curtain rod extension (I will provide the exact dimensions in my next post).

I am more than happy to help people who want to acquire all the components on their own. I will try to make up instructions on how I built mine this weekend if I have the time. It is really very simple.
