I had a dream

 

It reminded me on my humanity

Of what I am and what I could have been

 

I had a dream of her and her golden hair

She was smiling and I was passing by

Like I always do, missing all the good things

 

I never said anything to her

In that dream

 

Instead, I waited to wake up

And write it down

 

I had a dream

 

I was among my comrades

They were all dressed up in their shiny uniforms

They were strong, proud and beautiful

 

And I was as usual, the smallest and scariest among them

 

I had a dream of a king

My verdict is being read

But I don't care

 

My courage lasts a heartbeat

Before I turn cold and give myself to fear

 

I always had this dream

 

Running down a green meadow

Running and feeling like loosing ground

I was getting higher and higher

I started flying and it was beatiful

 

I had a dream

 

Of a lady mother lying on my left

In the night she would keep her eyes open

And she would always look up

 

What was she thinking?

What was she looking at?

 

I had a dream

 

Of a destroyed fammily

Of a dissapointed father

Of life that took a wrong turn

 

I had a dream

 

Of me calling you dirt

Of being afraid of your kindness

Of something I can't or won't grasp

 

So I'll just paint you black

Make you simple

Easy to mock

 

I had a dream

 

Of my old hands

Looking at them

Just a few minutes ago

The skin was young

 

Where did the time go?

 

I had a dream

 

Of sucking it in

Of feeling hate

Of feeling sadness

Of feeling for you

 

As your life is a destination

Hardly a journey

 

I am writing these words

They will be lost eventually

They will raise a few eyebrows

They will fool someone and make an impression

 

The lifestory in these words will last only 2 minutes

From the beginning untill the end
