Chat and interface

In view of potential renewing of game interface and chat lets gather opinion of community here.

Basically

: will be good to have option to switch off \ on visualization who is sitting in which plane per coalition (for special events);

:will be good to have option to switch off \ on chat at all or for certain persons.

Totally agree regarding the ability to remove the chat or turn it on and off.

 

As DCS grows in popularity more and more people are flying online, which is ultimately a good thing.

 

However there has been a rise in 'trolling' behaviour as some new users abuse others because they get frustrated.

We don't tolerate trolls in our server and they are very swiftly removed, we also try to discourage general chit chat using global chat in the server as ultimately our server is not a forum for people to catch up with others on.

 

Having a feature to turn off chat would come in handy though, it would increase the level of immersion too, as very often reading the chat in game can pull you out of your experience a little.

 

I'm also slightly concerned that a consultation such as this was taken on the Russian side of the forums and not on the English side at the same time, our input is just as valuable.

Its also my understand that many more 'Western' clients fly online than our 'Eastern' counterparts, so its a bit of a mystery to me why we were not included in this.

I ll give another good reason to do this. People will be forced to use radio comunications. Or even Ares (which is amazing tool)
