anthonye Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I have just started using Lock-on. I have been looking at the Flaming Cliffs download page, should I get to grips with the Lock-on before buying the Flaming Cliffs add-on ? Thanks Anthony (UK)
S77th-konkussion Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 If you like what you've tasted so far- the add on is a must. If you enjoy a challenging simulation- go on and get it. I don't think it's neccessary to learn early LOMAC first- in fact- there has been major changes to some systems, and you'd literally be training on the wrong info. (the EW environment, russian TWS, key command changes, to name a few things.) I would only advise people to start flying with the old version if they aren't sure they want to bother learning the simulation in detail. Guest Cali Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Just get FC you won't be sorry, there is no need to play LO first before getting FC.
