erjdriver Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I've set trackir and am trying to set up the y axis so that i can move "down" and look at the abris display head on as opposed to angle down. Even though my trackir profiles moves quite a ways down - the BS program seems to be stopping the max down movement. Any way to move all the way down - so that i'm looking at the abris headon...or is there a separate addon to display the abris on a second display. Thanks.
Blech Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Hi, ( Black-Shark 2 modul not installed ) Can`t see any limitation I had problems to create suitable profiles for the A-10C, P-51 The best idea was to test another profile http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/250466/ :D Complete other curves and much better than mine
StrongHarm Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 An alternative is to use custom snap views. I created one where I can look at a full view of the ABRIS and Shval simultaneously. Here's how, if you're interested: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=49168&p=817844 It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

EntropySG Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 op, maybe this is not the solution to your problem, but try readjusting your cap/clip such that it points more up, then re-center the camera. I had the problem in the A10 that I could hardly look down enough to access the side panels (where the ILS/Tacan freq is set for example). It had nothing to do with in game restrictions, it was simply the positioning of the IR receiver/clip [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
erjdriver Posted June 23, 2015 Author Posted June 23, 2015 Here's the exact solution I was looking for. http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/Snap_views Let's you re-define the snapviews. Most importantly - there's a way to toggle the snapview from momentary (keys have to be down and buttons cannot be pressed) to switch (new view stays there and buttons can be pressed). I defined a key on the hotas for the toggle function and defined the views and now I have all the important displays in up close and personal.
feefifofum Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Remember you can also set your sensitivity inside the TrackIR control software. Just select the correct axis from the drop down menu and click and drag on the curve to change it EDIT: whoops, didn't realize it was DCS preventing you from moving. Don't mind me. :music_whistling: THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC

erjdriver Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 Followup... If you have trackir - assign the z-axis to ZOOM feature. That solved all my problems (at least in DCS). Now when I move closer the hud, abris and pvi - are all clear.
