I sent a target to wingman and then told him to attack - but he says 'unable' or 'negative'.

Am I doing something wrong or do I have a scaredey-cat wingman.

When I press the datalink send/mem - the light doesn't blink - so i assume it's received.

Do i need to uncage the shkval after sending?

I didn't save it on the abris - i locked on a target with shkval and sent via datalink.

this is the problem.

My setup: Intel i3 4170, NVidia GTX960, 4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz, 128GB Kingston SSD, FaceTrackNOIR

Modules: KA-50, Mig-21, SU-27, Mi-8

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter -- and therefore, unsafe

I have a slightly different problem with my wingman, in that when I instruct him to RTB he lands on the runway, but carry's on through fields and trees and finally explodes when reaching water. It is in a homemade mission based at Batumi just for practice of navigation and targeting, when it first happened I deleted the mission and made a new one, the same thing happened. Don't know if this is a bug.

The funny thing was after about the fourth time of this occurring, for my wing mans insubordination I put a few canon rounds into him before he hit the water, exited the mission and I was promoted to Captain.
